The Aftermath
It’s about 20 hours later. Not quite a full day after filming The Price of Fighting, and I was wrong yesterday about feeling like I got hit by a truck. I feel like I got hit by a 747.
Everything aches like a mofo and I can barely get out of bed and in front of my computer to type this without feeling a twinge, burn, or ache somewhere on my body. That’s what I get for not having any padding except for thin shinguards and a groin cup while getting kicked, punched, thrown into a door and slammed to the floor. No elbow or forearm guards. No neck brace. And, unfortunately, no Gatorback (spine protector).
But you know what?
It’s all worth it. If my instincts are right, The Price of Fighting should turn out alright.
Now I gotta see a man about a chiropractor.
