John Kreng Interview for … a Belgian Screenwriter?

There is a very good interview with Fight Choreography author and stunt coordinator John Kreng by … a screenwriter … from Belgium.

OK, despite the odd coincidences, it’s still an outstanding interview.

Not only does John touch upon what he wrote in his book, Fight Choreography, but he also expounds on what makes a good fight scene, what the problem is with Hollywood brawls nowadays, and what he did to become a stuntman, stunt coordinator, and all-around fight-choreography guru.

A couple of months ago, I reviewed John Kreng’s book Fight Choreography: The Art of Non-Verbal Dialogue on this blog. Thanks to the miracle of Facebook, I managed to contact mr. Kreng, and after reading the review he very graciously agreed to do an e-mail interview - and here it is! John went so far beyond the call of duty, I’ve split the interview up in two parts as there’s almost as much to read here as in his book!!!
